Caregiver

Central Bethany, an established and growing real estate development and property management company just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, seeks a Caregiver to join the Affinity Home Care team! The successful candidate will provide assistance to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions.

Schedule:

Must be able to work weekends.

Pay: $21.00 – $21.50 per hour

Shift: FT/ PT 

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides general attention to residents needs.
  • Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
  • Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes.
  • Completes light housekeeping tasks.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Passion working with seniors + 6 months experience preferred!
  • Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding.
  • Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit
  • Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibility

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.   

Physical Demands

  • Lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
